In 2017, I was editing sizzles to sell TV shows. Then I got introduced to a small group of friends building a YouTube channel. Four years later, and I know way too much about YouTube and Facebook optimization, and how to run a successful video-based social media company without losing your soul.
Beyond all the talk of watch-time, engagement, click-through rate, and audience retention, I'm a director and editor first. Crafting a creative piece of media that I think people will enjoy, and that I can be proud of, is what motivates me most.
